Install the extension. Chrome, Brave, Arc and Edge.
tradercard's extension captures your closed trades from Tradovate, TradeLocker and MT5 and syncs them to your profile. It's not on the Chrome Web Store — you install it by downloading a zip and loading it unpacked, same as any Chromium browser's developer mode.
Install
- 1. Unzip the file you downloaded.
- 2. Open
- 3. Turn on Developer mode (top-right toggle on that page).
- 4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped "tradercard-extension" folder.
- 5. Pin the extension's icon, then go to dashboard → extension and press "Connect".
Why the warning?
Chrome, Brave, Arc and Edge all show a warning when you load an extension that wasn't installed from an official web store — that's expected for any unpacked extension, not a sign something is wrong. We never ask for your trading-platform password; the extension only reads trade data already visible on the page. Here's exactly what each permission is for:
- storage — remembers which site you've linked the extension to
- downloads — lets the popup's "Download capture" button save a captured-response file to your computer
- trader.tradovate.com, *.tradovate.com — reads closed trades on Tradovate
- *.tradelocker.com — reads closed trades on TradeLocker
- *.mql5.com, *.metatrader5.com — reads closed trades on the MT5 web terminal
- pravorov.me, localhost:3000 — picks up the one-time link code shown on this site to connect the extension
Updating
Download the new zip from this page, unzip it, and replace your old "tradercard-extension" folder with the new one (overwrite it). Then open and click "Reload" on the tradercard extension's card.
